DOANY

For the 9th edition, we are continuing our social actions in Madagascar with the creation of 4 scented candles covered in hand-crocheted raffia by the women of our cooperative. The Doany collection is inspired by a crocheted graphic motif that represents the aboriginal symbol of sacred sites. Alasora, Ikaloy, Antongona and Ilafy candles take on summer colors to become coffee table muses.

MINTVETIVERYLANG YLANG

The Antongona scented candle diffuses an aromatic fragrance in a blend of mint, vetiver and ylang ylang. A fresh, gourmet sensation brings a summery note to your home.

Know-how Know-how Know-how

Raphia is an endemic plant species harvested every year. The leaves are dried, then cut into long strips for dyeing and crocheting. Our women’s cooperative in Madagascar has been making our Raphia candles for 8 years, under the impetus of our creative direction. The motifs are first designed and then produced by the crocheters in Madagascar. This annual project enables women to make a decent living and send their children to school.
